UNIC Fund for Virtual and International Educational Projects
New opportunity for funding!
The UNIC Fund for Virtual and International Education Projects continues supporting virtual exchange teaching projects. You can apply for funding until September 30th. The funds can cover support with designing, coordination and/or implementation of the proposed theaching project.
The UNIC Fund for Virtual and International educational Projects – UNIC VIP Fund for short – aims to incentivize faculty members of UNIC universities to include virtual collaborative international educational activities (Virtual/Blended Exchanges) into the regular curriculum. The fund provides support to design, coordinate and implement those activities. Both, existing and news courses are eligible for funding.
What can be funded?
The fund can be used to cover e.g. salaries of students, who assist the activity, like teaching assistants, tutors and student assistants. This is an option we encourage especially to improve students’ participation in UNIC.
- The call is open to all staff members of all ten UNIC universities (part- and full-time professors, educators, lecturers etc.) involved in teaching.
- All faculties of UNIC universities and all topics and disciplines are welcome.
- The call closes on 30th of September 2025 (23:59 local time).
- The earliest possible start for a proposed teaching project is November 16th 2025.
You can find the full call on our UNIC webpage. An application form for Ruhr University’s teachers can be found here.
