New teaching guides for university teachers at UNIC universities

New teaching guides for university teachers at UNIC universities: Virtual exchange, teaching and learning in blended intensive programmes and challenge-based learning.
The university network UNIC has published teaching guides about five current topics in university teaching. The short documents aim to give an overview of a topic and concrete ways to implement it in lectures, seminars and classes.

Five guides to support teaching staff

During the last months, the team of the UNIC Center for Teaching and Learning worked on five teaching guides to support teaching staff concerning the implementation of the UNIC core topics in university education: virtual exchange, challenge-based learning, blended intensive programmes, education for sustainable development and inclusive education.
To make the teaching guides accessible to more people, they will be added to the website as unformatted text documents as soon as a technical solution becomes available.
What is UNIC?
UNIC is the “European University of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition” and is funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. Ten universities belong to the network. The ZfW coordinates the network of teaching support facilities at the partner universities and the cooperation in the UNIC Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) . We jointly develop training courses and materials for all UNIC teachers, in particular for the design of intercultural teaching and international teaching cooperations such as Virtual Exchange.
We publish current news about our work in UNIC on our blog . We recently even recorded an episode about UNIC for the ZfW-Podcast HÖRsaal (available in German). General Information about UNIC is available on the alliance website and on our project page .
Apart from UNIC, we are working on recording more podcast episodes for HÖRsaal. Click here to see all currently available episodes.
