Introduction AI/GPT@RUB

The short course introduces the importance and the fields of application of artificial intelligence, in particular the technology and functionality of large language models.  The functions of GPT@RUB (https://gpt.ruhr-uni-bochum.de),  the RUB’s AI service that can be used by everyone, will be demonstrated.

 Different variants of prompts (inputs into the AI system) are shown and in this context the usability of the different models that are available is discussed.

Criteria for the evaluation of results from interactions with speech-generating AI also  play an important role. These are also discussed and explained, as well as the legal and ethical usage information associated with the GPT@RUB service.
